I am so honoured to have been given the opportunity to participate in this blog tour! This book was incredible and I can truly say that it's one of my favourite books of 2017.

The story evolves around Dean Harrison, a trader who does his job exceptionally well. He has the image of a perfect life. He lives in a London penthouse apartment, he has a beautiful wife and daughter and a nice and fast car. However, things begin to change and Dean soon finds his life unravelling, becoming less stable at alarming speed. Following the advice of a stranger, Dean goes to Welnetham Hall Hotel and is suddenly and abruptly thrown into the world of Room 119.
When I initially began reading, I expected a basic story with a man who makes a mistake and ruins his life. I didn’t expect the plot twists and the sharp turns of the story that had me sitting on edge!
I loved Dean’s character. He was sarcastic and funny with a dry British humour (and this worked for me as I have lived in Great Britain for my entire life). Dean never forgets how important his family is to him and I loved this aspect of him as it made the story enjoyable. However, he places far too much importance on his career. He is doing this for his family, but this neglects them at times and, they only want him with them.
“Dean did not want to see anyone right now, but if he had to make a list of people he did want to see when he did not want to see anyone, Jack would be top of it.”
Dean stays in Room 119 and then odd things begin to happen. He wakes up to see a fairground where he is pursued by a tall man and saved by a clown. Everyone in the hotel seems to know his name, he travels there on a train line that had shut down over fifty years ago. The reader will soon be captivated by the story and sucked into the mystery of it all.
I won’t say what parts I found emotional as it would ruin the book for future readers, but this book has its aspects that left me as a sobbing mess. Honestly, everyone should give this book a chance.
This book was thought provoking and moving. It may seem light-hearted but there is a message in between the words.
I loved reading about Jodie and I simply assumed she was irrelevant. Let’s just say that I was wrong, and she is undoubtedly relevant to the story!
This is T.F. Lince’s debut novel and I already know that this will be a great success! I highly recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read a unique mystery story that’s unlike any other you would have read!
Be sure to follow all the other wonderful people who are participating in this tour!
